Description of Significance THE TIDAL SCHOOL NEAR DRUMRIGHT WAS BUILT BY THE TIDEWATER OIL COMPANY OF BAYONNE, NEW JERSEY (PART OF STANDARD OIL) TO SERVE THE CHILDREN OF WORKERS IN THE CUSHING OIL FIELD. IT IS THE BEST EXAMPLE OF A WING SCHOOL REMAINING IN THE AREA. LISTED IN THE NATIONAL REGISTER 4/2/1981.
